Would your child like to be a docent to one or more authors at the Author/Illustrator Fair on Saturday, November 5th? Second graders and above have the opportunity to sit with the author/illustrators while they are signing books for Fair patrons. They are responsible for helping the author/illustrator manage the line at the book signing, fetch supplies or snacks, or other special tasks. This is a unique opportunity for students to work side by side with professional authors and illustrators! A quick training will be provided to all docents the week before the Fair.

There is also an opportunity for students to sign up to be student announcers, and roam the Fair with signs announcing the next presentation. We need two announcers working at all times throughout the day, so please sign up for both the docent and announcer jobs.

¿Le gustaría a su hijo ser docente de uno o más autores en la Feria de Autores/Ilustradores el sábado 5 de noviembre? Los estudiantes de segundo grado en adelante tienen la oportunidad de sentarse con los autores/ilustradores mientras firman libros para los patrocinadores de la feria.
