GLACLP Child Life Internship Experience Scholarship Application - Summer 2024
The purpose of the GLACLP Internship Scholarship is to help financially assist two child life student interns during their internship experience.

Conditions of Scholarship:
  • Internship scholarships are currently awarded to two child life students for a total of $700 each.
  • Applicants must be a current GLACLP member.
  • The applicant must have secured a child life internship for the Summer 2024 semester. Completed or finished internship experiences are not eligible for this scholarship. 
  • Scholarships will be paid in two installments. Internship scholarship recipients, and their internship program coordinators, will each receive a mid-term survey to summarize the intern's accomplishments thus far. If recipients are in good standing and will complete the remainder of their internship experience, they will receive the second half of the scholarship funds.
Internship scholarship applications must include:
  • Completed application form (below). Completion of this form will result in a confirmation message acknowledging successful submission.
  • A one-page essay answering the following question: "How will this financial support help you during your internship experience?" 
  • A verification email sent to us by your internship program coordinator confirming you have been accepted for a Summer 2024 child life internship at that institution.
All essays and program verification documents must be emailed to scholarships.glaclp@gmail.com with the subject “Summer 2024 Scholarship Documents” by 11:59pm EST on March 15, 2024.
