Title: Make online learning RIF: Relevant, Interesting, Fun

This presentation and discussion will explore ways to use current events, résumé-building exercises and humor to connect with students in large-enrollment online courses. We will brainstorm how to craft emails that students look forward to opening and how to design assignments and activities that students enjoy doing (and that meet your course objectives). You'll leave with a list of at least five things you can do to engage online learners and ensure student success as well as high course evaluations.
