On the 14th of September 2023 the fourth edition of the AMPA Jazz Ronde will take place in Tilburg (NL). The Jazz Ronde is part of the Make It Jazz Festival in Tilburg. It will showcase the upcoming acts in jazz and improvised music. Our goal is to facilitate the newest generation of jazz musicians.

With this event, we want to merge jazz and young talented musicians into the city of Tilburg. Musicians can sign up for the JazzRonde until June 30th. Several acts will be selected to play at different venues.

Make It Jazz hopes to address young musicians who are new in composing their own songs and we want to trigger these musicians to bring out their own music, art and sound. We hope that the AMPA JazzRonde will help them to find the first stage for their own music. The venues will book the acts themselves, so make sure to have a good press picture and a catchy story when signing up. The festival will also invite at least one act to play at Make It Jazz Festival, september 2024.

The registration window is from June 1st - June 30th
The Make It Jazz organisation will make a selection of bands to present to the venues and connect the bands to the venues
Every band plays with its own backline*, most venues don’t have backline
After the AMPA JazzRonde 2023, The Make It Jazz organisation will select at least one group or musician who gets a spot on a professional stage in the main program of Make It Jazz 2024
Decisions made by the organisation can not be discussed

*Backline includes:

Instruments (incl. drumsets)
Amplification for guitar, bass, keyboards and vocals.
