Historian Ngô Vĩnh Long was an exemplary antiwar and anti-imperialist activist scholar. Educated at Harvard and a Professor of History at the University of Maine from 1985 until his death in October 2022, he was the most influential antiwar Vietnamese in the United States during the Vietnam War.
