Slots are limited!  Please fill out the information below, and we will be in contact.
You MUST sign up (that's what this form is for), receive confirmation from us, and provide payment BEFORE the day of the event.

On the day of the event, participants are to arrive at 12:30 to sign in. Once signing in, your name will be added to the lottery.

At 1:00 there will be a live drawing of names to form random bands.

Each band will be assigned a Barn at Looking Glass Creamery for practice. The barns have electricity.  Looking Glass Creamery also has food (cheese, ice cream, sandwiches) and beverages for sale.

Your band is responsible for creating a totally new song in any genre.  You are  welcome to bring ideas, but these should be new songs created in the barns.  Please be respectful of your band mates and their ideas.

From 5:00-6:00 we will break for musicians to rest, get dinner, and change into their rock star outfits.

Starting at 6:30 we will have a live performance of all the new music.  The Creamery has a covered outdoor stage with seating in the lawn. We will have a drum kit, amps, and microphones set up on the stage.

Throughout the event and the show, we will be recording both audio and visual.

It is $25 to participate in the event.  All money goes to Musicians for Overdose Prevention (MOP), but we don't want it to be a barrier to participate.  If this poses a challenge for you, please email roger@hlycrp.com for assistance.

Please invite friends and family to come witness!  We will have suggested $10 donations at the door, with all money to benefit MOP.

I am available on May 11, able to get to Columbus, NC, and understand that if I am not checked in by the time of the 1:00 live drawing my name WILL be removed from the pool of musicians.
Clear selection
I understand that the band lottery is totally random!  I may not know anyone in my band, and they may play totally different music than me. This is the fun part!
Clear selection
I understand that I will be in a barn.  The barns will be open and space cleared.  However, it IS a farm, so there may be smells and sounds.

You will be in close quarters with your bandmates.

This the fun part!
Clear selection
I understand that our mission is to write a new song during the event.  I promise to work nicely with my band mates.
Clear selection
I agree to be filmed and recorded throughout the event and show.
Clear selection
I understand that this is a fundraiser for Musicians for Overdose Prevention and that if I am selected for the event I will receive a Venmo link to pay $25.
