What is the Booster Club?

The BOOSTER CLUB promotes school spirit while supporting ISB students involved in athletics, the arts, and academic programs like MUN and Debate & Forensics. While our focus is on HS students involved with or competing at the IASAS level, we also support and encourage our HS, MS and ES students competing in the BMAC sports events and involved in the arts. BOOSTER PARENTS are dedicated and fun-loving parent volunteers!

Booster Club Activities

IASAS/BMAC EVENTS: Whether it’s a sports tournament or a cultural event, Booster parents show up and cheer on our students! We provide hospitality for the coaches and directors and we help with housing the students visiting from the five other IASAS schools.

PANTHER SPIRIT NIGHTS: Held at least one evening per season, these fun filled events are great for the entire family. Join us at the Spirit Tent to sell food and drinks while watching the games!

PANTHER TEAM PARENTS/ART ADVOCATES: Choose your favorite athletic team or fine and performing arts/academic group and help build school spirit. Inform and invite parents to events, support coaches/advisors and organize snacks.

AWARDS BANQUETS & CEREMONIES: Help plan the end of season Cultural Convention, MUN and the thrice-annual sports banquets to honor students, coaches and advisors for their hard work and accomplishments.

TOUCHSTONE ARTICLES/ PHOTOGRAPHY:  Write a news article or take photos of Booster supported events for the PTA quarterly magazine.

Fundraising Activities:

BOOSTER HUT: School spirit items including t-shirts, sweat shirts, bags, etc., are sold in the hut near the main cafeteria. Booster Hut is open everyday; one Friday a month, we are open to ES students. We welcome shoppers of all ages and parents who would like to volunteer.

Competition is arranged between member schools by age levels (U11, U12, U14, JV & Varsity divisions). The culminating activity for each season is a tournament hosted by one of the BMAC schools. ISB’s participation in BMAC is especially important for the JV, U14, U12 and U11 teams, as this is their only season ending tournament and the highlight of their season.
