T24 Baseball and Softball Syllabus

 To the Parents of T24 Baseball & Softball Participants: 

Our coaches are extremely excited about coaching and helping your child expand their understanding of the great game of baseball! I want to thank you for allowing your child to play baseball at Team 24. 

Please review the following information, and feel free to contact me to discuss in detail.
Conduct

1.  Players and Parents – Act Professional At All Times.  You Represent Your City, Coaches, Teammates, and Families.
2.  RESPECT YOUR:
*Coaches *Teammates *UMPIRES *Opposition
3.  100% Effort will be given at all times
4.  No throwing/slamming equipment
5.  No foul language
 
***Conduct violations will be dealt with immediately and can result in anything from a warning to removal from current practice/game.  Removal from Practice/Game will be immediately addressed with parent following the practice/game. 
Parents

On the field, all matters will be handled between coaches and players. Once players are on the field/dugout, please DO NOT “coach”, criticize, and/or distract the players from the game.  During a game, encourage the players.  Refrain from yelling or commenting to the umpires or other teams.  We understand that travel ball is very competitive; however, if you are unable to remain calm and maintain your composure, we ask that you do not sit behind home plate or near the dugout.  
Practice
All players are expected to be at all practices. Some rules will change in each age division. We will be calling and implementing plays, and everyone will need to be aware of the play calls. They will learn this at practice. Arrive at least 10 minutes early to warm-up and be ready to go at scheduled time. At times, practice may go over.  Practice should be harder than games. How we practice will be the result of of how we play. **Do not limit your practice time to the scheduled time** Backyard play is just as important and is encouraged. 
Season Age Determination
May 1st is the DOB cut-off date
Tournament Season

Fall season: will start Aug. 1st and will end mid November. Minimum 4 Tournaments. 

Winter season: will start Dec. 1st and end late February.

Spring/Summer season: will start Mar. 1st and will end mid July. Minimum 6 tournaments.

*After the minimum tournaments are played both parties are free and clear of all obligations if more tournaments are decided to be played!


*Down payments will be asked to be paid upon acceptance of roster spot for EACH upcoming season*


Uniform and Gear

3 Game Jerseys= $90 2 Practice Jerseys= $50  Hat= $30 Knicker Socks= $20 Belt= $20 Bat Bag= $85-$100   Bag Name Tag= $10  Batting Helmet= $75

Cancellations


If cancellation of a practice or game be necessary, we will do our best to contact you as soon as we learn of the cancellation or change. We use Team Snap to correspond with our teams. 

Program Cost

Roster Spots are secured with $200 non-refundable down payment upon acceptance. The remaining balance will be paid on a monthly basis via automatic withdrawal.  Automatic withdrawal is mandatory unless” offline” (outside of the player management software) payments are approved by T24 management.  Player fee/Program cost does not include travel expenses.


**Each New Season Requires a New Down Payment for All Athletes**
