The Tamūre marathon will take place at Hui Fest Marché on June 29th in Daly City, Ca.

Participant T-shirts are optional, but available for purchase. Spectators may also purchase T-shirts. All T-shirts are pre-order & pre-paid only! Venmo- @angelique-bannag *orders are only processed once payment is received.
How it works:
-There are 3 separate age categories, male & female dancers will dance at the same time, but will not be competing against each other.
-In the beginning of each category dancers will get 5-10 minutes of live drumming to warm-up led by a Referee/Leader.
-At the start of the category dancers will be led by one of several Referees. Referees who are not currently leading will be walking around and watching dancers to make sure they are continuously dancing at an acceptable pace. This up to the referees discretion. Referees will periodically switch out to keep the pace steady.
- Last female & male dancer standing in the category wins!
Referees will be seasoned dancers & fellow instructors for various Pūpū 'Ōri. This will also double as an opportunity to dance with some of our communities BEST!
