Proxy

If you are unable to attend the AGM, we ask you to nominate a proxy to ensure we reach a quorum for essential matters discussed at the meeting.

Even if you are intending on being present at the AGM, we ask you to indicate a backup proxy in case you have a sudden change of circumstances.

Three names of ACT members committed to being present at the AGM are listed as options - otherwise please click other... to indicate another ACT member to be your proxy.

*If I am not in attendance at the AGM*, I appoint the following person, who is also a member of Australian Science Communicators (ACT Branch) as my proxy. I authorise them to vote on my behalf at the Annual General Meeting on Monday 29 November 2021.

Committee membership

Each year, we form a committee of ACT members to guide and support the local chapter. Even if you have never been on the committee before, we encourage you to engage.

This is solely an expression of interest. You will have an opportunity to ask questions and commit to the role at the AGM (or remotely if you are unavailable on 29 November). NOTE: if you are unavailable to attend at the AGM, this does not prohibit you from joining the committee in 2022.
