Audition Information
Auditions will be held Saturday, September 3rd. Your audition will last approximately 5-8 minutes. Please prepare a verse and a chorus of a contemporary/pop song to sing a cappella (vocal percussionists should prepare a song and a ~30 second demonstration of your VP skills).  Perform a song that highlights your voice (maybe that's a large range, strong belt, impressive high/low notes, runs, etc.). You may also be asked to do a short sight reading excerpt. If you do not know how to sight read, DO NOT WORRY. The sight reading excerpt is just for us to determine your sight reading ability, and will NOT prevent you from being considered if you have never sight read before. You may also be asked to perform some vocal exercises to test pitch retention and range. We are looking forward to hearing your voice!
