Queer Screen Film Festivals Entry Form
Presented by Queer Screen, the Mardi Gras Film Festival and Queer Screen Film Fest both showcase screen content about or of significant interest to the LGBTIQ+ community.

Based in Sydney, Australia and founded in 1993, Queer Screen has been Australia’s leading LGBTIQ+ screen culture organisation for over 30 years, and we are searching for world-class films and other screen content.

Submissions will be considered for any upcoming event, including the 11th Queer Screen Film Fest (August 2024) and Queer Screen's 32nd Mardi Gras Film Festival (February 2025)

All Australian produced short films will be automatically in the running for selection as part of My Queer Career, the richest prize for Australian LGBTIQ+ short films, which is a competition within the Mardi Gras Film Festival program.

Regulations and conditions of entry
1. All films submitted must be about or of significant interest to the LGBTIQ+ community
2. Industrial, promotional and instructional films are ineligible
3. It is Queer Screen's policy not to offer comments or reasons when submissions are not invited to participate  
4. Once a film has been submitted, it cannot be withdrawn
5. Resubmissions are not permitted unless Queer Screen has requested the film be resubmitted
6. Queer Screen, its officers, agents and employees take no responsibility for any infringement of copyright, performers' rights, defamatory, illegal or obscene material or other liability whatsoever contained in or arising out of films/videos submitted
7. There is no entry fee for submissions
8. All non-English language films must provide an exhibition copy with English subtitles
9. Any feature length films that are available to view online or through streaming in Australia prior to our festival dates are unlikely to be selected
10. Submission of a film represents agreement with the terms and conditions set out herein
