2024 GAWL Leadership Academy Application
On behalf of Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (“GAWL”), we would like to invite you to apply for GAWL’s 2024 Leadership Academy!

The 2024 Leadership Academy is open to GAWL members who graduated from law school in or before 2019 and is an intensive seminar that provides participants with the opportunity to develop valuable leadership skills and to become a more effective leader at work and in the community.  Through the Leadership Academy, participants will also have the opportunity to interact and develop new professional relationships with other key leaders within the Bar and the State, including judges, politicians and attorneys.  The Leadership Academy also enables participants to become more involved with GAWL, and to network and learn with other attorneys.  Each participant who successfully completes the Leadership Academy will receive CLE credit and will become a member of an active alumni association of past Leadership Academy graduates.

To participate in the 2024 GAWL Leadership Academy, candidates are expected to meet all of the following program eligibility and attendance requirements. Please check the box next to each requirement to confirm your ability to meet these terms.
I am a member of GAWL (or, if accepted into the GAWL Leadership Academy, will become a member of GAWL prior to its first session). *
I graduated law school in 2019 or earlier. *
If selected, I will actively participate in all sessions required by the program. *
I understand that participants are required to attend at least three of the four main sessions between January and May 2024 with the entire GAWL Leadership Academy class. ***The dates of these sessions will be made available to you prior to your formal acceptance into the program.*** *
In addition to the main sessions I understand that I will be asked to participate in a community service project and other community events (i.e. visit to the Capitol, happy hour, etc.) *
If selected, I understand that there will be a program fee of $1495.00. The program fee will cover all of my meals for each of the training sessions, materials, CLE credits, and a double occupancy hotel room for overnight stays for two of the sessions. *
Applicants requiring financial assistance with the Program Fee in order to attend should denote so below and explain the circumstances behind the request for such assistance. *
