- two modules (course gatherings): Module 1: Typing Process; Module 2t: Teacher Training or Module 2p: Practitioner Training
- small group cohort meetings throughout the program
- a practicum following each module, working with a coach and/or supervisor to practice the professional skills, including a final reflection paper
- a final typing interview with a member of the Core Faculty
- either a final panel interview (Teacher Track) or a final review (Practitioner Track), with a member of the Core Faculty
Entry
into the Professional Certification Program requires the successful
completion of the TNE Foundational Program: Experiencing the Narrative
Enneagram, (formerly Enneagram Intensive Part 1), Engaging
Transformational Growth, (formerly Enneagram Intensive Part 2),
Exploring Instinctual Subtypes, (formerly Instincts & Subtypes),
and Deepening Spiritual Awareness.
Furthermore, those interested in entering the Practitioner Track must:
- be
currently enrolled OR have successfully completed a professional
training program in their discipline (e.g. mental health counseling,
coaching, spiritual direction, etc.),
- have worked as a fee-based client with a practitioner in their discipline for at least 6 sessions,
- have been working with individual clients in their discipline for at least 6 months,
- be actively working with at least 2 clients currently
The
Professional Certification Program provides hands-on experiential
learning for participants to develop and practice your professional
skills. Therefore, full participation, including pre-course work and
homework, is required from all students. Participants may not be absent
from any portion of the Professional Certification Program - in
particular the course gatherings - in order to successfully become a
certified narrative enneagram teacher or practitioner.
