Infinite Hope is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization that depends on donations to continue our rescue work. The adoption donation is $150 per cat/kitten. It generally costs Infinite Hope more than $300 to prepare an animal for adoption. This includes everything from initial examination, vaccinations, FIV/FeLV testing, micro-chipping, food, transport, and other expenses. These costs also include spaying or neutering. All adult animals have already been spayed or neutered prior to being available for adoption. If a kitten was too young to be spay/neutered prior to adoption, Infinite Hope will coordinate and cover the cost of future spay/neuter at the ASPCA in New York City. Alternatively, adopters may choose to use another vet of their choice. If adopters elect to use a clinic other than the ASPCA in NYC, they will be responsible for the cost.
Please note that it is our policy to adopt out kittens in pairs or to a home where there is already a cat for company. We are not able to respond to applications for a single kitten if there is not already a cat in the home. *
