Maine West Preschool Child Application
As an integral part of the Family and Consumer Sciences curriculum, the Preschool course is designed to provide a lab school experience for enrolled high school students. Children who participate are eligible for enrollment based on the following criteria:
Children must be four years old by September 1st (current school year).*
Children must be potty trained.
Families must be legal residents of the District 207 attendance area*
*Children who are younger than 4 years old and potty trained or those who live outside the attendance area will be considered if spaces are available after June 1st prior to the start of the new school year.
For information to help you determine if your child is ready for preschool, please review the resources in section 3 at the end of the application.
The preschool program fee is $300.00 for the school year. This fee covers snacks and supplies. It is non-refundable if for any reason the enrolled child should discontinue attendance at any time during the year. Fees will be collected upon enrollment.
Our tentative schedule will be 4 days a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:45-11:00. The preschool program must adapt to the flexible nature of the high school schedule; therefore, cancellations and/or changes in the daily schedule may occur. Our schedule for the next school is not yet determined.
