INTENT TO APPLY: Host the 2025 POD Institute for New Educational Developers (in person)                Deadline: May 15, 2024
The POD Network is soliciting declarations of intent to apply to host the 2025 Institute for New Educational Developers (in person).

The INED is offered each summer, alternating between in-person and online modalities. POD members are invited to complete this form by Wednesday, May 15 to declare intent  to apply to host the INED in person in 2025.

The INED is a signature program for the POD Network and should reflect the organization’s mission and its values of collaboration, equity, and evidence. Hosts are entrusted to assemble a group of educational developers to serve as INED faculty through an open call who can model these values. Hosts are charged with constructing a curriculum informed by the Educational Developer Competency Framework tool developed by the PDC to achieve the INED learning outcomes.

The POD Professional Development Committee (PDC) will extend invitations to submit a full proposal for the 2025 INED by Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Full proposals to host the 2025 INED will be due Wednesday, June 19, 2024. Guidelines for the full proposal are here.

Contact Emily Magruder, member of the POD Professional Development Committee (PDC), with questions.

Declaring Intent to Apply does not guarantee an invitation, nor does it imply an obligation, to submit a full proposal.
