The Hudson Economic Recovery Organization (HERO) Program is designed to invest local one-half cent sales tax funds back into local businesses and organizations for economic development. Hudson’s businesses and organizations are vital to economic development and the sales tax revenue that is reinvested into the community will provide for continued growth and prosperity.

1.) Any monetary awards granted through this program that are not used, or any funds paid on projects later abandoned or incomplete, will be refunded to Hudson’s economic development tax account; 
2.) Grants are considered taxable income by the Internal Revenue Service Code. The Town of Hudson will issue an IRS Form 1099 to any grant recipient for funds received in a calendar year
