Beauty & the Catholic Imagination Minicourse (Spring 2023)
Fridays 10:30am-11:30pm (Minor Hall Auditorium)+ Free Corner Lunch Gift Card for Feb. 3 students!

The goal of this Spring 2023 St. Anselm Institute minicourse is to sharpen our capacities to see more: more in our studies of past, present and future things, more in each other, and more especially in ourself. To learn how to see more, we will draw upon familiar and unfamiliar Catholic resources that together reveal something more about our experiences and the reality of Beauty. We all have these experiences, but what are they exactly? and why do our experiences of Beauty come and go in quite mysterious ways?

UVA students are especially invited to join us. The readings are short, and each discloses something more about the call and response to Beauty in nature, art, science, liturgy, and the every day of a life lived well. Sign-up with the form below or by emailing Dr. Charles Kromkowski (cak5u@virginia.edu) or Dr. Jocelyn Moore at jrr2zx@virginia.edu.
