“Kuduremukha” literally means 'horse-face' (Kannada) a mountain range and name of a peak refers to a picturesque view of a side of the mountain that resembles a horse's face located in Chikkamagaluru district, in Karnataka, India.

Kuduremukha is Karnataka's 2nd highest peak after Mullayangiri. At an elevation 1892m high the view of the landscape is marvellous. Rich in biodiversity with dense forests and progressing grasslands has created many perennial streams, forming the rivers Tunga, Bhadra and Netravathi.

Crossing the streams, passing through the trails covered with thick forest, hiking the gorgeous mountains fascinates one with the eye-catching beauty of natural grasslands and dense shola forests.

Tentative Itinerary:
- Day 0 (Friday 11th Oct) - Board onto the transport vehicle, start overnight journey to Kudremukha from Bengaluru.
- Day 1 (Saturday 12th Oct) - Reach the base camp, freshen up, start trekking to conquer Kudremukha Peak passing through the thick shola forest and grasslands, crossing the streams, reach the peak, feel the elevation, have packaged lunch appreciating the panoramic views of one of best landscapes of Western Ghats, start descending, return to base camp, relax for the rest of the day sharing your experiences, dinner, off to sleep.
- Day 2 (Sunday 13th Oct) - Wake up with chirping sounds of birds, freshen up, have breakfast, visit to nearby waterfalls, check-out, have lunch on the way back to Bengaluru, visit Halebidu if time permits.
