LUCERO Application Fall 2022
The Latinos Unidos Con Energía, Respeto y Orgullo (LUCERO) Program is designed to assist in the recruitment, retention, graduation, and transferring of Lansing Community College (LCC) students of color, particularly Latinx students. The LUCERO program offers students assistance through the operations and leadership of the Office of Diversity & Inclusion (ODI) at LCC. With the guidance of ODI, LUCERO students have the opportunity to partake in an experience that enhances their college life here at LCC. The vision of the LUCERO Program is to create a positive connection for Latinx students with each other and with LCC to help students develop exceptional academic, leadership and professional skills while learning about and celebrating diversity and culture. El programa Latinos Unidos Con Energía, Respeto y Orgullo (LUCERO) está diseñado para apoyar el reclutamiento, retención, graduación y transferencia entre estudiantes de color, especialmente estudiantes Latinx en Lansing Community College (LCC). LUCERO ofrece apoyo estudiantil por medio de las funciones y liderazgo de la Oficina de Diversidad e Inclusión (ODI) en LCC. Bajo el aconsejamiento de ODI, los estudiantes de LUCERO tienen la oportunidad de tomar parte de una experiencia que mejorar su vida estudiantil en LCC.
