These terms and conditions are an agreement between the Japan Fair 2019 Committee, hereafter called Japan Fair and Awa Odori Dance Contestant, to use the center hall stage on June 29 or 30, 2019 at the Meydenbauer Center at 11100 NE 6th St. Bellevue, WA.

PERFORMANCE DATE/TIME:
- Saturday, June 29, 2018, 10:00 - 5:30 pm
- Sunday, June 30, 2018, 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

APPLICATION PROCESS: Applications will be reviewed on a first-come-first-serve basis. Participation is subject to the approval of Japan Fair.

FEE: There is no cost to participate in the Awa Odori Dance Contest. Some charges may apply if additional equipment is required.

PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE: The order of Awa Odori Contestants will be determined by Japan Fair. The times may vary depending on performance durations of other Awa Odori Contestants.

PERFORMANCE LOCATION AND STAGE SIZE: The stage will be inside of the Exhibition Hall. The size of the stage is 42’ wide x 24’ deep x 2' high.

FIRE AND SAFETY: All Exhibitors/Vendors are required to comply with fire and life safety regulations of the city, county, and state. DISPLAYS/MERCHANDISE WILL BE KEPT WITHIN BOOTH AND/OR TABLE AREA. Do not extend stands, furniture or goods beyond ends of tables or aisles. The Japan Fair reserves the right to terminate this contract immediately if Exhibitor/Vendor is not in compliance with said regulations. It is Exhibitor/Vendor’s responsibility to have a safe operation.

JUDGING: The judging of Awa Odori Dance Contestants will be conducted by judges selected by Japan Fair. Judging and scoring is subjective.

PRIZE: The Awa Odori Dance Contestant chosen by the judges of the dance contest will win 10 suite tickets to the Friday, August 23rd Mariner's Game at 7:10pm against the Toronto Blue Jays. The ticket does not have any cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be exchanged for another date or game.

APPLICATION PERIOD: Applications will be closed when all the performing spaces are reserved.
