Rymfire Parent Title 1 Compact Form
Greetings Roadrunner Families,

As a Title 1 School, Rymfire Elementary strives to have consistent communication where all stakeholders know what to expect and what commitments are needed from students, parents/caring adults, and teachers. Every year, students, parents/caring adults, and teachers review and sign the Title 1 Compact so that all stakeholders know what to expect and what is needed from each other.

Parents/Caring Adults, please review the contents of our Title 1 Compact in this form with your student.  Submitting this form is confirmation that you and your student reviewed this form in its entirety and understand what commitments each party listed is making and what they can expect for the 2020-2021 school year.

Thank you,

RES Administration

As a student, I promise to be respectful, be responsible, be safe, and be engaged. I promise to attend school daily, work hard to do my best in class and on schoolwork, and keep my school safe (See something, Say Something). I also will ask for help when I need it, respect and cooperate with other students/adults and complete all my assignments. I will use my planner (K-3) or technology (4-6) as a plan for organization and be responsible with my technology.       I need teachers and school staff who care about me, and people who believe I can learn. I also need  a school that is safe, respects me as an individual, a family and community that supports me, a person who is willing to listen to me when I have problems at school, positive interactions with caring adults and to be taught digital citizenship. *
As a parent/caring adult, I promise to have high expectations for my child as an individual, help my child attend school and be on time daily, help my child learn how to resolve conflicts, find a quiet place for homework and make sure work is done. I will keep my contact information current, respect school staff and cultural differences of others, consistently check my child’s backpack, planner, for progress and monitor my child’s technology use. I will also call (386.206.4600 ext. 5106) or email  (excusedresnotes@flaglerschools.com) the Attendance Clerk when my child is absent or send in a note. If I see something, I will say something as it relates to safety for all the students and staff and I will represent Rymfire positively on social media. As a parent, I need teachers and support staff who respect my role as a parent/guardian, clear and frequent two-way communication with the school, respect for my culture, my child, and myself as individuals, a community that supports families, written communications in a language I understand (when available), makeup work from teachers when my child has an excused absence, and opportunities to improve my own digital literacy. *
Rymfire teachers promise to believe that each student can learn, take into account individual strengths in our students, help my student grow to his/her fullest potential, be consistent, create an environment where students are challenged and supported when taking risks, have two-way communications with parents/guardians, use the RES planner (K-3) or technology (4-6) as a way to communicate with parents/guardians and teach my students digital citizenship.
