The fourth advanced VAMPIRE workshop will be held virtually between 23rd - 27th October 2023. The workshop is targeted at scientists and engineers wishing to study magnetic materials and devices at the atomistic level. The workshop will cover the basic and advanced features of the VAMPIRE code which can be used to study a wide range of magnetic materials and phenomena, from zero temperature ground states, equilibrium properties and magnetisation dynamics. The workshop will be a mixture of lectures, demonstrations and practical sessions giving hands-on experience of atomistic modelling of magnetic materials with Monte Carlo and Atomistic Spin Dynamics methods. We will present new features including longitudinal spin dynamics, spin-lattice dynamics, higher order exchange interactions and anisotropies as well as a tutorial on simulating 2D magnets.
