Stage group
The stage group is there to bring the Silhouette nightclub to life. They will be playing the roles of performers during the larp and will be performing 1 or 2 musical numbers per act. You do not have to be a member of the stage group to play a character who is a performer.
Because the stage group will be setting the scene this group will rehearse several times before the larp. They will be both dancing and singing and the songs performed will be covers of musical theatre songs (some from Cabaret some from shows in the same genre.)
We are looking for:
- People with some experience in singing and/or dancing/musical theatre.
- People who are willing to commit to the rehearsals
- People who are willing to rehearse at home. We have limited face to face time and we expect you to practice routines by yourself as well.
Rehearsals will most likely be taking place in Waalwijk/Kaatsheuvel.
On Friday the 13th of september (the day before the larp) there is a mandatory dress rehearsal at the venue in Geertruidenberg. That way you will all get to know the stage and space in a more relaxed fashion.
The stage group will have some very simple additional costume requirements to make sure that the group looks like a whole when performing.
Rehearsal dates
The rehearsal dates are:
- Saturday 11th of may 10:00 till 16:00 - vocal rehearsal, picking soloists and start of choreography. This is a mandatory rehearsal!
- Saturday 15th of june 10:00 till 16:00 - dance and vocal rehearsal
- Saturday 29th of june 10:00 till 16:00 - Dance and vocal rehearsal
- Saturday 17th of august 10:00 till 16:00
- Saturday 7th of september 10:00 till 16:00
- Friday the 13th of september 19:00-23:00 - Mandatory dress rehearsal on location
It is possible to miss one or two rehearsals and still perform with the group. In that case you’ll just be performing in fewer songs.
