IMPORTANT: Due to an overwhelming number of submissions we won't likely be inviting people filling the form now (the wair time may be more than 7 days). If you'd like to get updates on the IDE, you can still fill the form and we will be sending e-mails to those who do, once we no longer require invites for the beta access.
For the past couple of months we at
Software Mansion have been developing a Visual Studio Code extension aiming to streamline the development of React Native projects. We are currently at the stage where we want to give access to the extension to a group of external developers in order to provide feedback and allow us to get to a point where we can launch the extension for everyone to use.
Note that React Native IDE is not a ready product, it currently has some limitations as to what type of projects and setups are supported. If you are only looking to try it out, don't fill out this form. We search for individuals who understand that the product still has some rough edges and are willing to spend some of their time to report feedback as well as try out the updates even if the earlier versions didn't work for them This will eventually allow us to make the product better and ready for more people to use.
As a member of React Native IDE program, we will ask you to fill a feedback form we will send in a couple of days after we accept you in.
The access to React Native IDE Beta is not granted automatically, we will be sending invites depending on the volume of people we can accommodate.
To avoid spamming your mailboxes, we use Discord and GitHub for most of the communication. Make sure to join our Discord server, and once we add you to beta, you will be added to a private channel on that server as well you will get access to the main code repository on GitHub. We will use email for critical communication (i.e. when you misspelled your GitHub username) and for sending feedback forms.
