Pilotsmith can run, free of charge, an itemized statement of all account activity for a specific year. This is typically acceptable for tax purposes.
We will have the request completed in 30 day (usually within 2-3 weeks). If you wish to pay a $50 rush fee we can complete the request within 3 business days. While Pilotsmith is FAA 141 approved as a Flight School, per IRS regulations we cannot provide a 1098-T form. However, it us up to your an accountant to determine your unique tax scenario and the deductibility of educational flight training.
Student information can only be emailed to the student. Please make sure you are checking the STUDENTS email.
Electronic Copies of invoices older than 30 days are subject to a $5/invoice charge due to the complexity required to retrieve and regenerate them -- it's a time consuming manual process. 30 days turnaround, rush fee applies. Reprints are unavailable after 30 days.
