I have a long term passion and commitment to science outreach and mentoring students, particularly those coming from disadvantaged backgrounds. Besides understanding neural diversity here at UNM, my goal is to prepare the next generation of diverse neuroscientists. NEURONAL is a mentorship program in which I provide mentorship and help to interested URM students. I will also help them find and apply for research labs, summer programs, and internships. If you are an undergraduate and are interested in neuroscience or related fields, please register here, and I will get in touch. You can be on any nationality at any school or a university pass out.
