Event Description:
Members from the
Hofstra community will volunteer with 2nd and 3rd
grade students of St. Martin de Porres Marianist School in Uniondale, assisting
with reading assignments and playing games with the students as part of Service
Week at Hofstra.
Purpose/Activity: Volunteers will help 2nd and 3rd
graders with homework from 3:30-4:15pm and then volunteers will play various
educational games with students of the school from 4:15-5pm.
Snacks and transportation to and from the service trip will be provided!
Space is limited. THE LAST DAY TO SIGN UP FOR THIS SERVICE IS SEPTEMBER 25th AT 6PM!
