PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS RSVP FORM IS ONLY INTENDED FOR COLLEAGUES FROM CSOS THAT HAVE RECEIVED INVITATIONS FOR THE ROME SDG16 CONFERENCE FROM UNDESA, AND HAVE CONFIRMED THEIR PARTICIPATION. Therefore, we would please ask that you DO NOT fill out this RSVP form if you did not receive an official invitation to the Rome SDG16 Conference, and are unable to attend this Pre-Conference civil society day.
In the lead up to the 2019 Pre-HLPF SDG16 Conference, the TAP Network and IDLO will host a pre-conference civil society day, which will be open for all civil society stakeholders attending the conference. This meeting will be held on Sunday 26 May 2019 from 13:00 - 18:00 at IDLO's headquarters.
Civil Society colleagues that have been invited to attend the Rome Conference are kindly requested to RSVP for this civil society day through this form, in advance of the meeting.

This civil society day will culminate in the "Rome Civil Society Declaration on SDG16+", which will serve as an important input into the outcomes from the Rome Conference, as well as around the 2019 HLPF in July, as well as the SDGs Summit in September.
In an attempt to coalesce around some key messages to include in this Rome Declaration, we are soliciting inputs to include in the content of this Declaration in the lead up to the pre-conference civil society day. This is also to help ensure that civil society colleagues that are not able to attend the Rome Conference are able to contribute their key messages for inclusion in this Rome Declaration.

https://forms.gle/zALWZxYBKkQAwuZt9 In preparation for the 2019 HLPF, the Division for Sustainable Development Goals of the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA/DSDG) and IDLO, together with partners, are organizing, in preparation for the 2019 HLPF, a conference on progress towards SDG 16, as well as its role in advancing the vision and Goals embodied in the 2030 Agenda. The conference will address this role in the perspective of the contribution that its individual targets can make to these ends, but also in the context of the broader considerations and objectives that bind them and underlie the Goal as a whole. It will be informed by the principles of universality, integration, justice and equality and the approaches to sustainable development contained in the entire Agenda.
