Started by WWF and partners as a symbolic lights-out event in Sydney in 2007, Earth Hour is now one of the world's largest grassroots movements for the environment.

It is held every year on the last Saturday of March, engaging millions of people to switch off their lights between 8:30pm and 9:30pm local time to show support for our planet against climate crisis.

More than a decade later, the climate crisis remains and made worse by another urgent threat: the rapid loss of biodiversity and nature. Time is ticking, we have merely 12 years left to deal with the crisis.

Earth Hour goes far beyond the symbolic action of switching off - it has become a catalyst to harness the power of the people by reconnecting with the nature, realising its benefits and taking collective actions to put a stop to the destruction of nature, which our health, happiness and prosperity depend.

J.O.E invites you take a pledge and join the Earth Hour movement, on 28 March 2020.
