REOPENING PROCEDURES SURVEY
The strictest orders of social distancing have been lifted, and slowly we are becoming more and more able to resume some of the rhythms of life again. One of those rhythms in our lives is worship together. We are beginning to plan what worship will look like as we try to balance safety with the need for community.

Surely, life will look different for a while. When we are able to return to the sanctuary, we will have roped off pews for social distancing. We will be seated by family with space in between us. There will be no passing of the peace or handshakes as we exit. Communion will be on hold for a bit more, and offering will need to be collected upon entering or exiting. In accordance with CDC guidelines, we will all be forced to bring our own masks and wear them through the whole service (some masks may be available if you forget one or do not own one yet). Maybe the most heartbreaking reality is that we will be unable to sing together like we are used to. Pew bibles and hymnals will need to be removed to prevent contamination, and ventilation will be a factor as well. We will need to get Ultraviolet filters for the Air Conditioning or leave all the windows and doors open as we worship. The counters will wear gloves and there will be no bulletins. Instead we will rely more on technology like the projector. These are just a few of the precautions we will need to take. In practicing these measures, we hope to return together in worship on June 14th, but we need your feedback to know hot to proceed.

We ask that you take this digital survey, OR fill out the survey in the newsletter, and mail it to the church at 1268 Fells Church Road, Rostraver Township, PA 15012 OR leave a voicemail at the church office at (724)- 379-4502 with your responses. It is vital that you take the time to give us your feedback so that we can care for the vulnerable populations in our community of faith.

Rest assured that even if you are uncomfortable worshiping in person, we will continue to provide some alternative form of worship online or by phone. We are not able to pick back up where we left off just yet, but by following these procedures, and listening for your valuable input, we will be able to ensure a quicker return to normalcy. Thanks in advance for your participation and care.
