Thank you for your offer to come and stay as an Event Helper during the May 2020 Open Retreat at Amaravati.

Below you will find some important information about the set-up and what serving as an event helper would involve. Once you have read this page,  please complete the rest of the form.

Event Helpers would be the core team looking after the retreat and retreatants, together with the sangha coordinating the events.

Event Helpers would be offering up to 6 hours of service a day. Therefore, please note that you will not be able to fully participate in the meditation schedule. If your primary wish is to join the meditation sessions, then please fill in a booking form for retreatants.

We are aiming to have a team of 40 to 50 people available as Event Helpers during the week. Event Helpers will be allocated basic accommodation in temporary cabins, with men and women in separate areas. The cabin have rooms with bunk beds for either two or four people. All other facilities will be shared.
