Carers survey: Individuals
This survey is for anyone who lives in Wales and is a carer or has been a carer in the past.
Instructions
There are 6 sections – the first section has some compulsory questions, all the other sections are optional so you can answer what you want and skip what you want. You should be able to complete the survey in under 10 minutes, or, take longer if you’d like to tell us more.
Why are we asking these questions?
We know that visiting our museums and joining in activities can help people who feel isolated or under pressure. We know that many carers feel that way some of the time. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to visit and make sure we have activities that are designed around what you want.
What are we thinking of doing?
This will depend on the answers we get to the survey. At the moment we are thinking of:
- Carer days at a museum where there is extra support, special activities, and a chance to meet other carers. We are looking at a mixture of activities, some that you could attend on your own and some with the person you care for.
- Making it easier for carers to join in ongoing volunteer or community activities and to be part of ongoing projects and teams.
We are not experts in providing care, so we are not going to be able to look after someone you care for nor provide any kind of personal care.
Thank you for taking the time to let us know your views.
