Small boat sailing is dependent upon the weather. The number of boats and servos are limited by the number of experienced volunteers. Confirmations for sailors and volunteers will be emailed by Friday.

If you would like to SAIL, choose your desired boat:

You may not get your preferred boat or be able to sail on a particular day. It depends on the needs of the other sailors, weather and volunteers. If you need a servo, provide details below.

If you would like to HELP, what is your desired activity and availability:

Let us know if you would also like to sail. We try to give our volunteers an opportunity to sail one of our two person 303s. Let the Dockmaster also know that morning. Even if you can't sail, we try to get everyone out of the water. If you are new to volunteering with BAADS AND you have never been through orientation, apply here: http://www.baads.org/volunteer/volunteer-application/

Do you need to use a lift to get into the sailboat?

Some sailors are not able to transfer into the sailboat on their own. BAADS has two cranes as our volunteers are not allowed to lift people into the boats. We encourage sailors to bring their own slings but BAADS has several slings available.
