Clarksville’s Historic Preservation Commission’s new banner program, “Clarksville Courage”, will recognize veteran service men and women with banners lining Main Street beginning in May and running through September. The banners are full-color, double-sided heavy-duty vinyl. The banners will include the Veterans’ name, a military photo, branch, and years of peacetime or war served.
Details-The cost $125 per banner. The cost includes the banner. The town provides installation and hardware.
-Veterans must be retired or honorably discharged members of the United States Armed Forces.
-Veterans must be a former or current Clarksville resident.

Disclaimer & LimitationsBanners will remain in place from May to September on Main Street. Upon removal, the banners will be made available for pickup to the contact person. Please note that there may be some color fading or other wear due to the sun and weather. Specific banner locations will be determined by the town.
The Town of Clarksville and/or the Historic Preservation Commission are not responsible for replacing banners that are stolen, damaged, or destroyed due to age, vandalism, or any acts of nature including high winds. Any loss or damage to an installed banner will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
