Call for expression of interest - HKAC adventure based training

In order to provide Hong Kong Adventure Corps' members with sufficient adventure based training, so that they are allowed to purse higher achievement in related specialty, Adventure Training Committee (ATC) is collecting members' area of interest and availability for course planning exercise. Details as below:

Use of information collected:
Based on the information collected, the ATC will conduct course scheduling for the coming three to six months. Members could re-submit information on interested course(s) in every next quarter.

Type of course:
1-1. Challenge Course High Event (Technique Training),
1-2. Challenge Course High Event (Associate Instructor Training),
1-3. Challenge Course High Event (Associate Instructor Refresher),

2-1. Challenge Course Low Event (Technique Training),
2-2. Challenge Course Low Event (Associate Instructor Training),
2-3. Challenge Course Low Event (Associate Instructor Refresher),

3-1. Recreational Abseiling (Technique Training),
3-2. Recreational Abseiling (Associate Instructor Training),
3-3. Recreational Abseiling (Associate Instructor Refresher),

4-1. Obstacle Course (Technique Training),
4-2. Obstacle Course (Associate Instructor Training),
4-3. Obstacle Course (Associate Instructor Refresher),

5. Basic Fitness Test for Adventure Training Course,

6. HKCU Kayak Certificate Course(s),

7. Open water diver (PADI),

8. Power-driven Vessel (Pleasure Vessel) handling and basic seamanship,

9. OFCA Amateur Station License Examination Course (Chinese),

10. Radio Communication Network and Radio Procedures Refresher Course,

11. Others (refresher workshop, use of equipment and technique workshop, etc.),

12. Pleasure Vessel Operator (Grade 2) Certificate of Competency Examination Course.

Course date preference:
The course(s) will mainly be arranged on the 2nd and 3rd weekend of each month.

Course arrangement:
* This form aims to collect the number of participants who are interested in specific course or workshop. It is NOT a nomination or application process. Scheduled training course will be officially announced on the HKAC website ( http://hkac.org/ ) and email notification to Squadron / Unit correspondence email.
