In an effort to better serve the needs of you - our parents - please sign up for the session you would like to attend on Monday, October 24. Each session is about 30 minutes and offered at both session time slots. Session 1 will be from 6:45-7:15 p.m. and Session 2 will be from 7:20-7:50 p.m. The Celina PD session will be offered once since it will be about an hour. You may attend any session you would like. Keynote presentation begins at 6:00 p.m.

Texas Star and Texas Health Steps by Diana Retysnski. Audience: Parents of PK-12th grade. Description: Texas Health Steps offers healthcare for children birth through age 20 who have medicaid. Texas Health Steps gives children free medical checkups starting at birth, and free dental check-ups starting at 6 months of age. Find out if you are eligible and how to enroll.

Presenter: Lykins Elementary School Nurse, Rebecca Russell. Audience: Parents of PK-12th grade. Description: Learn hands-on CPR and Seizure First Aid Option 2

Presenter: Celina ISD Counseling Team. Audience: Parents of PK-12th grade. Description: Increase of anxiety in today's youth, Self-Regulation, and Building Resilience in our children.

Presenter: Celina Primary School Counselor, Ms. Juneau. Audience: Parents of PK-Kindergarten students.Description: Learn about an anti-victimization program especially designed for this age level. The WHO program (We Help Ourselves) was developed to help children take responsibility for their own safety and learn strategies of what to do in a potentially dangerous situation. At the kindergarten level, we discuss with developmental appropriate language, issues about Strangers(myths and stereotypes), Hurts (physical and emotional abuse),Secrets(not telling) and Touches (sexual abuse).

Presenters: Myshelle Morgan and Joanna Bennett. Audience: Parents of PK-12th grade. Description: ipads and filter and apps, Oh My! Set your minds at ease! In this session, we will provide an overview of what the district is doing to help keep your kids safe online as well as share helpful tips for what you can do at home. Take a closer look at apps that all parents should know about and walk away with tools and resources to help equip you in navigating the digital world with your kids!

Presenster: Celina Police Department. Audience: Parents of PK-12th grade. Description: Online Safety for Parents; sexting, online solicitation, sextortion, and cyber-bullying. THIS SESSION IS AN HOUR AN OFFERED ONE TIME.
