Kaukauna Schools will be offering a “paid bussing” option for the 2023-2024 school year. There will be some modifications to the program. Below are the stipulations for paid bussing for the coming school year:
- The bus route in which the student would be assigned to must have available space on the bus
- The student will be assigned to an existing stop as no new stops will be created
- A parent or guardian will utilize the attached form to have the student added to the list of potential paid bus riders. Instructions on returning the form are listed on it
- Paid bus riders will not be notified until the second week in September as to their approval or denial of their application. This timeframe is necessary to ensure space is available on the bus
The cost for paid bussing for the 2023-2024 school year will be $350 per student. There will be no refunds issued after the application is approved with an invoice to be sent immediately from the Kaukauna Area School District. There will be no exceptions to the fee with all those participating in the “paid bussing” program obligated to make payment.
The invoice must be paid in full no later than October 15, 2023. Failure to make payment by that date will nullify the agreement of paid bussing between the parent/guardian and KASD and the student will be removed from the bus route.
