Biggleswade Good Neighbours is a volunteer-run organisation that links local people who need help with volunteers who can help them. We are currently recruiting new volunteers to help with telephone calls, shopping, and other small errands for people, especially those who are house-bound. We generally also offer other services such as lifts, light DIY/gardening, and help with household tasks. We require that it is an enhanced check including for vulnerable adults and done within the last year or on a rolling basis. We may ask to see a copy of this before allowing you to volunteer directly with clients.
