I would like for my child to be considered for 8th grade Algebra I. *
Math placement decisions will be made by Crawford ISD administration.  Placement will be determined by 6th grade STAAR math scores, teacher recommendation, and course grades in 7th grade math (87+).  The Algebra I course is more rigorous and the guidelines in place are to help ensure student success.  Students in 8th grade Algebra I must pass the Algebra 1 EOC which is required for high school graduation and grades in this class are included in the student’s high school GPA.  Students will not be allowed to change math courses after the first week of school.                                                                                             *****Please type your name below to indicate that you accept and understand this statement. *****                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     *
