Spring 2021 Virtual TKU Digital Agency Application
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The TKU Digital Agency is an advanced program for young people who learn differently that mimics a real workplace. Participants will complete projects for real clients and be paid a stipend (details below) for their contributions. The program will meet weekly on Monday afternoons for 10 weeks beginning February 22nd. Dates for the Spring 2021 cycle appear below. There is no fee for participation.
Application Deadline: Monday, February 8th at 5:00PM
Applicants will hear from TKU about acceptance by Friday, February 12th at 6:00PM at the latest.
Previous client projects have included: logos, stickers, websites, UX design, videos, marketing materials, brochures, and more.

ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible, applicants must:
-Must be between the ages of 14-21;
-Have previous tech and/or design experience; Limited spots; Students who have taken TKU classes before will receive preference.
-This is a program for neurodiverse students and students who learn differently. Most eligible applicants will have an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) or a 504 plan. If you do not have an IEP or 504 plan, please indicate your eligibility in the final question on this application.

EXPECTATIONS
Participants will be paid $15.00 per session, and payment will be in one lump sum after last session in the form of a digital Visa Gift Card (or similar). Out of respect and accountability for their coworkers, full attendance at all sessions is expected. Existing commitments and unexpected absences should be communicated before class whenever possible. Participants will only be paid for the sessions they attend.
