KISS とは？What is KISS?

キャンパスに集う神戸大学の学生達が日本語/英語のバイリンガルで自由、活発に討議し交流することを目的としたシンポジウムです。
KISS (Kobe University International Students' Symposium) is an opportunity for Kobe University students to discuss their ideas and opinions in a freely structured English/Japanese bilingual environment.

「COVID-19との共存」“Coexisting with COVID-19”

KISS27メインテーマ「COVID-19との共存」です。現在の状況を踏まえ、コロナ後の未来について考えます。様々な国や地域から集まった、異なる価値観や考えを持つ人たちと、コロナとの生活について4つの視点で議論します。
We are holding the 27th KISS and the main theme of this year's symposium is “Coexisting with COVID-19”. In light of the current situation we will think about the future after Coronavirus. We will discuss this theme from four perspectives, with the participants who join us from various countries and regions, bringing different values and ideas.

KISS27では、「COVID-19との共存」というメインテーマの下、以下の5つのサブトピックを設定しています。各参加者は、2つのトピックについてグループでディスカッションします。以下の5つのサブトピックからあなたが議論したいと思う2つのトピックを選んでください。Under the KISS 27 main theme of "Coexisting with the COVID-19", we set up the following five subtopics. Each participant will discuss two of the topics in groups. Please choose two topics from the five subtopics below that you would like to discuss.

トピック1 教育:オンライン授業 Education: Online classes : Covid has radically changed our college lives, and many universities around the world have introduced online classes. While many of the negative points of online classes have been widely discussed, we will consider how online classes can have a positive impact on the future after Covid.

トピック2 教育:オンライン教育のマイナス面 Education: Negative aspects of online education : Education has mostly gone "online" during this covid-19 pandemic, so here we will discuss the negative aspects of education in life with corona. By highlighting the negative sides of online education, we hope to find a way to overcome the disadvantages.

トピック3 ”不要不急”？の職業とCOVID-19 “Non-essential and non-urgent?" work and COVID-19 : Various activities that were considered non-essential and non-urgent, such as tourism or art, were severely damaged by the COVID-19. During our discussions, we will learn more about the damage suffered by those industries as well as about differences in the restrictions individual countries imposed. Furthermore, we will discuss some of the issues we ought to consider after the COVID-19.

トピック4 コロナ後の人との繋がり Relationships with people after COVID-19 : We will discuss “relationships with people after COVID-19”. In this discussion, comparing the merits and demerits of online and face-to-face communication, and how to make use of online platforms for better communication in the future.

トピック5 コロナウイルス終息後の移動の自由と制限 Freedom of Movement after Covid-19 : We will discuss Freedom and Restriction of Movement after Covid-19 focusing on (1) lock-down vs self restraint and (2) vaccine passports, from the perspective of government and civilian relations during and after the COVID-19.
