Your child has been recommended by their classroom teacher as someone who would benefit from additional summer learning, via our Virtual Summer School Program. Summer School this year will focus on two main areas: Reading and Math.  

Summer School will be held virtually, but it will be done in a different manner than traditional eLearning. Teachers will meet with students through Canvas, but will do so in-person (via Google Meet). This means that your child will be able to see their Summer School teacher every day! A daily schedule will be provided for the 8:30-11:30 session and not all learning will be in front of the computer screen.

To ensure that we are providing the best instruction for your child, we are asking that children be present at Virtual Summer School every single day. We realize that this model of learning is not convenient for all families and that this model requires support and commitment from parents as well as students. With that being said, please know this is an optional opportunity. The dates and times for Virtual Summer School are below:

June 8th-11th (8:30-11:30) Monday-Thursday
June 15th-18th (8:30-11:30) Monday - Thursday
June 22nd-25th (8:30-11:30) Monday - Thursday
