This April 5 - 10 2020,  The Circle is excited to host an Art of Hosting workshop on on Mi’kmaw Territory at Windhorse Farms, NS.

This training will increase connection between our members and will be a unique learning opportunity toward activating truth and reconciliation.

To ensure that Indigenous leaders are fully supported to attend, we are inviting philanthropic organizations to help alleviate barriers to participation through sponsorship. Additionally we are seeking funds to enable Indigenous participants the ability to plan and host a convening in their local communities after this event.  
So few Indigenous organizations have the human and financial resources to invest in their personal and professional development. We would like to see the philanthropic community respond by making funds available to such organizations for their desired personal and professional development opportunities.

One small way to support organizations is to enable our ability to cover full tuition, accomodation and travel costs for Indigenous individuals. If you have the capacity to cover these costs directly through business travel accounts or airmile points etc, please consider helping in that way if a cash contribution is not possible.

Individual Tuition fee (which covers tuition, workbook and all meals for duration of training)

Travel Sponsorship (provides funds to reduce or alleviate cost of travel)

$600 - $1200

Accomodation sponsorship at TinWis Resort(Check in Sunday April 15th , depart Wednesday April 18)

Convening cost coverage

$1500 - $5000

The easiest way for our small team to coordinate the use of these funds is to provide a sponsorship amount we can allocate as necessary.
