By Front Runners & Walkers Fort Lauderdale (FRWFL)
In order to promote the sport of running, racing and general health among LGBTQ Young Adults (18-22) who are residents of Broward County Florida, Front Runners & Walkers Fort Lauderdale is offering a limited number of Race Grants worth up to $50 to pay whole or in part for races in Broward County*. The grant funds will be paid directly to the Race Director for an grantee's desired race and the grantee will receive a "discount code" that will provide free registration for races under $50 or a credit of $50 dollars for more expensive races the balance of which the grantee will pay.
Rules:
- Applicants must be 18-22 years of age at the time of the application.
- Applicants must be residents of Broward County Florida.
- Applicants are only eligible to be awarded one (1) grant per 365 days.
- *Target races must take place in Broward County with the exception of the Night Runners WPB Pride 5K.
- Application must be made prior to registering and paying for a chosen race.
- Applicants need not be members of Front Runners & Walkers Fort Lauderdale.
- Grants will be awarded without regard to the applicant's, sex, gender identity, race or ethnicity.
- Applicants who demonstrate participation in their college's LGBTQ Club or Gay Straight Alliance or a community LGBTQ organization will be given priority when awarding grants.
- Applicants must agree to release Front Runners & Walkers Fort Lauderdale from any and all liability from their participation in their chosen race.
- The terms of this program are subject to change without notice.
- The decisions of the FRWFL Race Grant Committee are final.
