At Support Act, we want to set the stage for a thriving and connected music industry. One where we can support one another, make impactful, cultural changes and kickstart important conversations around mental health and wellbeing. We are grateful to host a number of programs and events Australia-wide, dedicated to supporting and connecting people working in music.
In order to increase the longevity and expand the reach of these wellbeing programs, as well as to spruik Support Act's mission more broadly, we're looking for a small number of passionate, articulate, skilled and knowledgable live presenters to join us.
As a Support Act presenter, you will have the opportunity to represent Support Act across a number of roles, drawing from your background which includes your passion and experience in the music industry or mental health industry (or even better, both!) To be successful, you must be familiar with the unique landscape of the Australian music industry, and be comfortable, knowledgable and tactful discussing topics in the realm of mental health and wellbeing.
Support Act presenters will have the opportunity to represent Support Act across the following events:
Moderate live, in-person / digital panel discussions and Q&As (including On My Mind, Sound Minds and Yarning Strong)
Appear as live guest speaker on industry panels
Facilitate 60-90min wellbeing industry workshops (including Workplace Wellbeing Check-In's)
Facilitate 60min to full day (7.5hrs) training (including Voices Amplified)
Be on-site as Wellbeing Officer for live shows, festivals, etc. (qualified mental health practitioners only)
All presenting opportunities will be fully paid. If you receive an offer to represent Support Act as a presenter, you may need to attend 1-2 x 90min online training session/s, to gain familiarity with the organisation, programming, training package and clarification on role expectations.
Thanks for your interest.
