Membership of the IBM Hursley Club
Permanent employee members and permanent contractor members currently work at IBM, and generally are based in Hursley. Their membership fees are taken directly from their IBM paycheque, elected through Workday, until they ask for it to stop, or they leave the company. This is only available to IBM employees on the UK payroll who do not work for CIC.
Fixed-term employee membership covers students, short-term contractors, or short-term employees of IBM. For fixed-term members, membership fees are calculated pro-rata for the amount of time they are applying for membership, and payable up front by cash, card, or cheque.
Former employee members must have previously worked for IBM, and left to work elsewhere. Their membership fees are payable annually by cash, card, or cheque. We prefer bank transfer via standing order.
Retiree members must have previously worked for IBM, and retired. Their membership fees are payable annually by cash, card, or cheque. We prefer bank transfer via standing order.
Social members must have a connection to the Club - for example, people living in the village of Hursley. Their membership fees are payable annually by cash, card, or cheque. We prefer bank transfer via standing order.
Sport members must be a paid-up member of a Club subsection. Their membership fees are payable annually by cash, card, or cheque.
