Esport Canada is searching for skilled and dedicated DOTA 2 players who embody excellence and sportsmanship both in and out of game. Do you have what it takes to take the global stage?

SELECTION CRITERIA

APPLICATION / NOMINATION - Apply or nominate a skilled DOTA 2 player for consideration
GAME EXPERIENCE - In game performance, player statistics, & highlight reels demonstrating technical/tactical skills will be considered as part of the selection process
COMPETITION EXPERIENCE - The number of competitions, as well as the size, prizepool, and overall finish in competitions will be considered as part of the selection process
INTERVIEW & TRIALS - Players may be asked to submit a video interview and/or participate in trials as part of the selection process
SHOW MATCHES - Selected players must participate in a series of 3 show matches for eligibility to international competition

SELECTION COMMITTEE
A selection committee will review nominees/applicants based on the above listed criteria. Players must satisfy a background check in order to be selected to the National Team. The selection committee may reevaluate team rosters and make ongoing changes or additions as need to ensure all requirements to represent Esport Canada in global competition are satisfied.
