California Nurse-Midwives Foundation

Thank you for your interest in applying for this leadership opportunity with The California Nurse-Midwives Foundation. The vision of the California Nurse-Midwives Foundation is to revolutionize health care delivery in California by ensuring access to high-quality, high-value maternity care for every person, whenever they need it, wherever they are.

This application is designed to get a better sense of you as a person and as a potential Board Member. We want to learn more about your skills, experience, and interest in reproductive rights, health, and justice. We also ask demographic and personal questions to ensure that the Board of Directors is representative of the communities that we aim to serve.

The Board is currently composed of 6 volunteers, the majority of whom identify as people of color, Certified Nurse-Midwives with a range of time and experience working in the field, and who live in different regions of California. The Board meets virtually once a month.

If you are interested in joining us, please submit an application by November 30th by midnight. Applicants who move forward to the next stage will be contacted on a rolling basis to schedule an interview a few days after your application submission.

New board members will start their term in December 2022. We ask for an initial two-year commitment in this leadership role, as time flies in the organization. We are excited to read your application!
